Frozen

As life moves forward, we soon see it is over before it has begun you can't move forward you are stuck always hoping for better days you never get what you want but how can it feel so bad when we have it better than some we still breathe we still walk Even when pain grips us you turn around you look back aching for the past who cares about the future it will never be the same change never stops. my clock slows down yours speeds up you move so fast, like smoke I can't catch you righting wrongs, can it be done? when the pain still lingers, cannot be erased hanging above us, controlling us why won't he let me go? how can life be about movement when everyday is another link on the chain eventually we stop and then there is nothing there is nothing nothing left of me I'm frozen you are the only one who could save me but you didn't, you don't you leave me cold forever no warmth in my smile Frozen.
