Funeral for a Mermaid.
Surrender Soul, a Siren song, Grieve, bequeath we silvered sisters. Evening's touch socoldly long, Caress, relieve diurnal blisters. Taste this tide of salty water, Her saline sea of shame and fear. Taste, then touch the times you fought her- Savouring each stagnant tear. She, your Shade, resplendantly tattered. She, who caught the moon and bayed- Reflected you until she shattered, A mirror cracked can't be re-made. The solitude of Seas uncharted, Tranquility, twice tainted, tombed. The tragedy, to have her martyred, Body buried but Soul exhumed.
