Gabriel's Song

He's rocking back and forth again, Smiling from ear to ear. Reaching for some distant star, Yet his body's still right here. He rarely calls me mommy, But I'm sure he knows I'm there. He rarely sheds a single tear, His hug shows how he cares. They say he's learning slowly, I have to say they'e wrong. They just don't know how to sing, Our Gabriel's perfect song.
