Gentle Beast
How many times have I looked into those eyes? Those deep dark eyes and seen the beast? The beast that lies inside, That lurks, sulks and hides, How many times have I feared that beast? Feared those eyes… So many times have I seen those fists, clenched in rage, so ready to strike! Yet also have I seen those hands, calm and set as stone. And many times have I seen those hands, seen them shake and tremble from fear, hate and nerves of love… I’ve seen those hands work so much love…. Then I look into those eyes one more time, and see the beast…, But that beast has the tenderest heart, softest voice and the most beautiful smile. Somehow I wish that I could be the one to tame the beast n yet again allow it to roam the passages of her heart freely.
