Ghostly Bells
Deep in the distance of a valley not too far away I can hear the sound of mystery haunting my dreams Ringing through my ears tempting me to wake Cowardice humming lullabies equipped with dreadful stings Burning my freedom of comfort, chilling my veins The wind continues to whistle as the bells continue to chime Paralyzing every corner with misery and shame Ceasing my heartbeat frozen in the prison that is time By Glenn McCrary © 2011 Glenn McCrary (All rights reserved)
