Cobbled Courts Echo Roman Supremacy, Blood & Circus the Enduring Legacy. A Listless Tavern in Cotswold Stone, Longing for Comfort, a Long Way from Home. Dare us in, or Dare stay out? The Beggars Knife or Wholesome Stout? Rain Daggers down o'er Smugglers Inn, Thieves without and Thieves within Over the Threshold, Unto the fold, The Draw of the Pint 'gainst the Bitter Cold? Tankards; A Shilling and Mostly Head, Flies Crowd the Bar; Draining the Dregs. Busty Wenches Circulate Beer, Cursed every Drop (but Crystal Clear). Life is a Vice and Drinking's a Gamble, "Pour me a Pint in a Glass with a Handle"
