Gone (David)
David was just sixteen, when the reaper came Inhalants were the toys, a high was the game He played with death, to numb a most awful pain But did he know that after this He'd never feel again I was only thirteen, on a fateful day When the only friend I'd ever known Would forever slip away In a frantic thought I summoned in his mom, to the hospital we drove My fears drag on and on In that bed alone With me there by his side He swore he'd never leave me But on that day he died So with this thought I'll leave you In your heart think of him Don't break a heart the way he did You are someone's best friend
