Goodbye to familiar faces, to friendly hellos, and the people I've known for twelve years. Goodbye to Mrs. Boles smile, Mr. Friesen's laugh and Mr. Watson's costumes on Halloween. Goodbye to gym class, talks with my girls, and fitness circuts. Goodbye to the couch in the library, the cold canteen and tiny lockers. Goodbye to lunch time discussions, being squished like sardines around a table, and Pam's laugh Goodbye to an abunadnce of free magazine, having books overdue for weeks, and reading period. Goodbye to bus rides, gravel roads, and small towns. Goodbye to Peer Helper's retreats, sharing circles, and talent shows. Goodbye to the people I've played with since I was in diapers, the adults who have supported me like they were my parents, and the teachers who care like we're their own children.
