" Good Intentions"
A slew of metaphors, cliched such as: " putting out the fire with gasoline." or, " cutting off your nose to spite your face." So apt, for rebels like me - I understand the meanings well. "Former rebel" I should say, for now I proceed with caution, analyze and re- analyze, weigh pros and cons. Gone are the days of spontaneity- youth's devil- may- care... But sometimes, with my new- found sensibility still, the results are the same ( not good) and it's as if I've thrown caution to the wind- Yes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
