Goodbye Chime
I hope you find the letter that I wrote. I hope all the scars heal with time. I'm sorry for the words I never spoke. I'm sorry for this goodbye chime. Will you find strength in hope. Will you hate my sublime. These words made me choke, as tears filled up my eyes. I wish this poem could, make your hurt go away. In this I know I should, Take my pride and go astray. Three years I misunderstood. I saw our open house today. The agent said you had a groom. I hated the look on his face. I hear you found the letter that I wrote. They said you didn't need healing time. You never wanted to hear the words I spoke. You found relief in my Goodbye chime.
