“Goodbye.”, I cried to the Night Now I must just lust the light Bid farewell with all my might To the darkness most do spite I’ve come to rue each day anew Mourn the dawn whose sunlit dew Dons the morn with thoughts of you That drip from crimsoned petal lips Like the memory which slips To the bones beneath my lips Ahoney bee that always sips Eternal love in blackened bliss Both of whom are prone to kiss As if the flower blooming was How we seemed to dream in love Take me beat me break me neatly Into tiny shattered pieces Scattered and left incompletely Tattered as my heart it ceases While the bleeding and the pounding Echoes one last beat resounding In attempt at yet compounding Any bit of love resurging In my veins and thus emerging From these ashes of this purging Now a virgin bird just urging AsI call to arms and action Those of the forgotten faction That we bond a band of brothers Come thus ye lamenting lovers Even those who under covers Shrinking from the rabid, biting Beast who’s foaming as they’re hiding Seeking shelter wrapped in satin Sheets and screaming Latin “timor mortis conturbat me statim”
