grace and mercy
You call me to purity And demand perfection Your love comforts me, your truth judges me I do not deserve your grace Nor am I worthy of your mercy You over look my frailties And call me to sit at your table Made me an heir of heavenly riches My name you have written in the book of life My life you have made a book to be read Each time I fall You hold my hand and say 'stand tall' With shame and defeat I try to hide from your presence Still your grace draws me and reminds me Christ is my advocate my wrongs are forgiven As I naer your throne, my sins are exposed You have loved me from my infancy Have allowed me to touch your presence With grace and mercy you have sheltered me, from the sanction worthy of my faults.
