Greed Of Earth

·St Anger

“Blue rain falls upon red oceans that has stood in time, The battles of mankind’s tell tale sign. Turning it into a gloom of green, Of murky waters not clearly seen’ The water rise up from below, As dark skies meet it in the glow” A world that has turned into utter chaos, Of governments that has failed us. Countries fighting over sea and land, That does not even belong to man. We are here as mere tourists upon this earth, To walk in her splendour from our birth’ And bring forth generations to witness her beauty, For it is our God given duty. So why must their be so much greed, For something that we cannot keep’ For we are here today gone tomorrow, But all we are leaving behind is sorrow. So as we continue with the world’s destruction, Their wont be anything left of natures construction’ For future travellers to admire on this planet, For the gluttony of man has damned it. Stop the greed of man, from mother earth’s abusage, Take a stand to keep our globes heritage. For you that so readily want to spawn, Bringing life to a world that’s so forlorn’
