Grindstone of Agony
So now I know what it feels like to be an obstacle in your way Just like a blade piercing through a canvas, blocking a light that shows the way But today we’ll wash away the sadness and bless the essence of the progress that we’ve made Cold and afraid, I stand before you today Suffice it to say that what we’ve done was not in vain The pain we’ve endured against the Grindstone of Agony will calcify in conjunction with our well-being and over known Thrown down from its dormant comatorium where it received the breath of life, then the swift exhale of death The after silence is deafening The reckoning is welcoming Desperate and hollow, I follow blindly Kindly accepting the fact that I’ll never see life the same Blaming everything but myself for this affliction I made the prediction but didn’t quite fathom it would come to fruition The fictitious wishes blankly molded, yet carefully scripted, depicted events for the not-so-distant future Vicious creatures attack the home of my mindset Leaving me cold and lonely, only to fret what is yet to come From the Pesticide of Will, I’ll kill the vermin and maggots that stand in my way Self-induced doom from my ivory tomb Blooming a new age of me Carving into fear and devastation I sharpen my strength, will and force on the Grindstone of Agony Prepared for this never-ending Hell to sow its seed within me
