Growing Pains
Growing Pains By: Laigan Ahkee Every once in a while, I feel alone, Like the world is made up against me, the taunted sorrows of childhood pains make everyday feel like hell is a place called home… I’ve grown up stranger to my family, and only God knowing the pain built up inside of me. Over the years, I’ve experienced much, forced to grow before my time, without a father s touch. As stretch marks grow and cover my mind The growing pains I know are all figments in time. It’s normal I was told to feel alone to be insecure and to know that hell is a place called home. Once upon a life time, about two decades ago, I was born with just a mother that I’m proud to call my own, but so my growing pains unfold And throughout trying years I’ve witnessed hardships and tears and many more truths untold But as I grew old my emotions grew cold, tear drops began to dry and unruly sights caused me strife. The growing pains I felt all tore me apart With not much left….. I TURNED TO GOD
