Growl

·Ayge

My first love! Your pages broad! Colors sprawled, letters lulled. Tall as building, 1,000 pages Each with stories years apart. As if you never lived at all A telling tale, an imaginative draw. Semi constructs stuck in time Bones in clay, mud cracked lime Sedimentary layers showing life in line. Stratified, petrified, fossil records Mesozoic secrets tethered To rocks in deserts, Winds, ice have weathered. “Wondrous-Lizard!” Your time did come. Sudden smash, your work undone. Now you’re all bones, white and raw Theropod’s, we look in awe Brachiosaur stood high and tall Take a look, a second is all Where were you, at the Dinosaur’s fall?
