Is there no hope for the human race? A race enslaved by lies that they wish to see purge reality real What god has perplexed you so, that you can’t understand the plight of another? Whatever gods there may be I question the methods of their teachings I rebuke the wickedness of their omnipotence For there is no simple answer, no easy answer that comes with serving an unsightly being No faith can be mustered enough to believe in such folly This is the burden of the natural man This is the guilt of every saint The the bliss of every sinner The promise made only to receive gratuity upon death The cataclysm of deceit If the mind links to the soul, then all souls must link to an instantaneous death But if the heart links to the soul Maybe salvation Maybe mercy Maybe peace Maybe god Maybe guilt
