Ustad Ali Akbar Khan and Late Pandit Allauddin Khan are two great exponent of Sarod. The 1st one is having his academy in U.S.A to teach the instruments over there. Sehnai, is another instrument , a piped one blown like a flute.The great exponent was Pandit Bismillah Khan . Sitar, is another string instrument widely played in the orient. The greatest so far is Pandit Ravi Shankar, who as well runs a school in U.S.A. Ustad Vilayet Hussain Khan was another great performer and guru who had lot of desciples in the west.
