halfway

·kinamv

the music swells, and plays a melody, that hangs along the fibers of my heart. even as we part, the song goes on: swirling itself thick on our canvas the colors bind together and your words within me grow look at the snow – billowing, blowing tendrils of white that dance in the breeze, matching our tempo as we tango head upon chest, chin tucked plucked from time itself, count seconds as i count your freckles like constellations: memories in my mind like film camera prints dipped in developer, oozing, bleeding love is fleeting(?) in the breath of the night… so hold it ‘till your lungs turn grey and remember the imprint of my hand as it slips from your fingers — love lingers(?) in the warmth of the day now: inhale, and i’ll meet you halfway
