Last night when I was dreaming Of happy days gone by The dream was so vivid I can still see it if I close my eye I can remember it still We where racing our home made go-carts Down the steepest hill Some crashed while at speed descending But it never caused us any ill Wheels would come off spinning And seats with grass would fill Although it was all in childhood jest Each and everyone wanted to win and do there best These go-carts where made from wooden pallets And the wheels from a pram where nailed on with mallets The laughter the was done by someone who had won Would make the runner up face showed a envy grin Then when in winter We would hate the rain but wish for snow When the snow came We would change the game Off the wheels would come we would fix runners in there place And the go-cart would be reborn into a sledge We would have more fun to come To that steepest hill with socks as gloves, with our sledge we would run Through the snow at full speed our sledge would go Very soon we would be soaking wet And you can bet there would crashes all day long we where up and down that hill But none of us got ill I look forward to tonight for the dreams of happy days gone by

I have a mental health illness and I was a inpatient in a private secure mental health hospital not because i was a danger to the public but because i myself was the only person who was in danger from me was myself and that will reflect in my poetry...
