You see onion smells stays on you for a long time Even if we washed it with Clorox, bleach, and lime The smell remained on you when you were in school The students would laugh at you and you felt like a fool. I learned to ignore the ridicules and the hateful words I depended on our extensive family love and support. All the bad stuff that we heard, we learned to shrug off I didn't need them to like me, my family's love was enough. When you are a child, you can't understand the hate Why as a child you learn to bash others until its too late Are these things that are taught in their churches and homes? Then maybe parents need to change their attitude and odious tones.
