hatred and forgiveness

Hatred is a silent flame that slowly consumes our souls It burns out the iron tower of hope found in the midst our hearts it burdens us with the load of yesterdays faults Anger traps us in a rage of senseless emotions blinding us to our own folly Filling our hearts with images of evil it is a flame that darkens our spirits Forgiveness allows us to break free from the destructive effects of hatred It is a freedom the burdens of an angry heart it neutralizes the flames of evil Our spirits find strength in the resolve to forgive regardless Forgiveness allows our hearts to heal Our minds to be at peace with the pain In forgiving we see beyond the hurt and understand that little people hurt us in an attempt to feel great Hatred is bondage that forgiveness frees us from
