Haunting Truth

*Help!! I have been working on this so long...I need an assist to help finish this out Any comments welcome! Sidling up next to me you catch me unaware the shock of a quick hard slap on my behind harmonious and playful our laughter skims across the tips of tall prairie grass as it undulates sinuously beneath the breeze you grasp my hand tightly as though I might let go and pull me down to lounge beneath the maple We're soothed by musical leaves overhead as they rustle and blink amid the sunbeams I lay my head upon your outstretched arm comforted by your warmth we quietly talk about the time you spilled iced tea across the sheets 'so tragic' we murmur smiles edge the curve of our lips as the need for absolute is torn frommy heart thick tears deeply scuff my cheeks You were never meant to be mine

I have been writing poetry and fiction for several years now. It is truely one of my great pleasures in life to create beauty with words.
