Have a Safe Day Theron Thornley thumped his thumb, Because he held the hammer dumb. He wailed and whimpered, “Mother!…Come!” She put on ice ‘til it was numb. Sterling Stumble stubbed his toe. He didn’t watch where he should go. He jumped around with an, “Oh! Oh! Oh! Now, it’s puffed up like a piece of dough. Betsy Bill did bump her knee, When falling from the apple tree, She howled and cried, there was no glee… “carefulness”, she did decree!
