Have a Safe Day Theron Thornley thumped his thumb, Because he held the hammer dumb. He wailed and whimpered, “Mother!…Come!” She put on ice ‘til it was numb. Sterling Stumble stubbed his toe. He didn’t watch where he should go. He jumped around with an, “Oh! Oh! Oh! Now, it’s puffed up like a piece of dough. Betsy Bill did bump her knee, When falling from the apple tree, She howled and cried, there was no glee… “carefulness”, she did decree! Oh what woes we sing all day, When little things get in our way… If only once we’d stop and say… “I think that I’ll stay safe today! IlaMae Stucki (c) 11/30/10 ( Childrens Collection)

I am a Registered Nurse.. I have loved writing for as far back as I can remember. My first writing was experienced by drawing as a child. In 7th grade I wrote a poem about Abraham Lincoln that won an award and was read on the radio in Salt Lake City....
