He walked in to my life He saw me in the pain I always knew The drinking and smoking that would kill me soon He is my best friend He is always there to defend He knew I was wrong He didn’t judge and go along He wanted to help Help me fight Fight my old habits and life He showed me that everything would be alright He promises me that he would always be there He loves me and showed me Showed me to be strong He believes in me Like no man ever could He makes me feel like I can do no wrong He saved me from myself When I never even knew I needed saving He helps me through it all He says with him I will never fall He is my best friend and more I love him because he saved me He saved me from my death once more And from my living hell
