He, His Secrecy

He, His Secrecy If only he could speak. He would tell you of woe, of misery. He would unfold himself to you, so you could see everything you and him could be. He who had kept his love, He who felt possessed, secretly. He who sheltered it from rejection. A coward to you feeling differently. And if his heart could speak, you would know devotion and loyalty. How he had done it all, It was him who was there, Eternally. He would count of unbelievable dreams, near realities. Cascading from his certainty That his heart would be the sea Of everything you would ever need. For he could give you the world, He could give you the stars, the galaxies And all the space in between. He would give up his most important part, The feeling he had guarded within his heart. If only he could convey to you this. No heart but yours could sew his. A thread from your love, the stitch of a kiss. To mend the tear of loneliness. For if my heart could speak, I would tell you of love, of ardency. I would unmask my heart so you could see. The sweetest tones of reality. I would unfold this portrait Of your heart on mine. The portrait you had brushed within me, With memories and time.
