He left you behind (v2)

·shocks

You strange unwelcome tenant, you vile and limpid vapor crouched and coiled and sullen, swollen creature in my corner. Back against the wall, tail under my bed. Hair making patterns in the dust - I find them on waking, a new one each day. Breath leaving streaks of mould. How helpless you appear. I touch your hand, like touching deep water where your whole self recoils from sudden cold. Just remove yourself, shapeless thing - in your hand are silver creatures fitful, alien and curious, waiting to snatch me from the surface. Their teeth make brilliant lines. You faceless animal, gathered in my corner, he took his car but left you here. Finer now in all your glory than he every was, and better fated-- Oh shallow image of my lover who forgets to breath I will take your flaccid arm, ignoring all decency, and we'll go everywhere together. I'm not sure if it's cool or ok to repost revisions as new poems but this was a fairly serious change so I thought I would leave the old one there for comparison. In some ways this one is a lot better, but I think maybe it's missing some of the charm of the old one.
