He's There

He’s There. When fear becomes pity, when words and actions that wounded no longer make a mark that can not be healed by a gentle word. He’s there. When anger starts to lose it’s power, when it eases it’s hold of you ever so slightly and you feel that you might able to say ‘I Forgive.’ He’s there. When the sharp pain of loss lessens, when it becomes the dull ache of emptiness but you are told that you have smiled one time that day. He’s there. When the strength of illness weakens you, when you have stopped praying for miracles and then find one tiny seed of courage to face another day. He’s there. When you feel that He has turned away from you, when you feel nothing and have convinced yourself in every possible way that He never was and never could be . He’s there.
