The blinding yellow cover drew me in, pages of do's and do's were my mantra, to trust such eyes that others warned me were covered in lies, soft voice assuring leading my heart, in belief of something that my head still proclaimed impossible throw your heart in see it tossed as a plaything, but always hope he might come around announcing intentions to rhyme with yours, I want, Yo quiero, Je veux, Ek wil, still lies in tongues that I bought as a serenade, and successful in aim to break my own heart
