Heavenly Promise

The clutches of life, grabbing holding and taking me apart, the wound of my soul, like a cold hand over my heart Persistently searching, languishing and gasping for emotional air, life drowns me in anger, leading me away with my hope in despair I shut my eyes, crying out screaming and pleading 2wards the sky, hoping for mercy to storm down on me, overflowing my sins and lies A voice irradiates, clearing the heavens while directions appear, deviating darkness, saying trust, believe in Me and do not fear. -Brendon vd Merwe
