Hello, what does it take to reach you A distant light across a sea of fear and injury I see you, I hear you calling out in vain, for freedom From being so safely estranged Your innocence and virtue taken by a thief Raped and beaten by a circumstance of youth Your only sin being so naive and free You learned your lesson well and keep it hidden Safe away, helpless and ashamed A comfortable place, alone in silent sadness Oh but your voice and the damage it could do How sweet the taste of kind innocent lips A flowering tomb for words yet unspoken A beauty only equaled by your pain inside Refuged within such a perfect disguise Oh but your eyes and how they cry They shall betray you every time Cinderella girl, the only magic is within you Let your voice be your steed Let your heart be your carriage Trust that I am listening Know that I can hear you Hello...
