(This was inspired by colocby, brought by his poem "Yo," which is a masterpiece of the written word. ) Hello. Yes you, White man. I am proud to see you Toiling in the hot sun To sustain your family, Sweating with dignity, Forgiving the mistakes Your forefathers made. I am encouraged to see That if my dreams For a white-collar world Are doused by reality, I can work the land And be happy. STRONG!!! In accepting your responsibility. A leader – A figher, An inspiration to me. I see you then glance At my own reflection, And the mirror shows greatness. To happen soon, whoever, And for always. When I feel broken, you give me hope. When I fall, you give me wings. You help to seal the cracks in my spirit. You are…………………… My dream. -My inspiration My future – Myself.
