HERE

·E.F.E

While am here, in this strange yet familiar terrain Many groan in anguish, some rejoice, while most can’t hide their pain. Here everybody appears to be going somewhere, and they all seem to be in hurry to get there. Who put us here? And what are his expectations? Whom do we believe? The preachers or the scientists claim on evolution. While am here, I’ll try to make it worth the while On every sad face I come across, I’ll try to leave a smile. I’ll give and I’ll take, the right moves I’ll make I’ll find and stick to what’s real and abhor the fake Who makes the rules, who determines the fool? What’s bad and what’s fair? This I must find out while am here. But as I navigate through this rough terrains, my heart serving as my compass I see the young the old the rich the poor and some appear to have gone bunkers. I wish I could help them all, I wish I could change the world But that in this self is futile. But I must leave a legacy and hope its carried on, cos I’m only here for a while. I’ll uphold the down trodden, I’ll lend strength to the weak I’ll serve the good cause, I’ll fight the good fight and say be well to the sick. Many have come and many have gone and sooner or later I’ll add to their number. But when I go just like I came, will I be forgotten or remembered. And if remembered, would it be for good or bad as unjust or fair This I must determine while I’m here.
