Eagles fly overhead Birds of prey Kings of the skyways above And I stand here A king of the highways below Like a knight in shining armour On a quest like the warrior lords of old But my heart My soul My essence Are not pure like theirs I am a knight in tarnished armour, Tarnished by a world of beautiful monsters Seducing all with their gaudy robes And at the last moment striking with venomous fangs Taking their victims into oblivion And destroying them slowly But surely Gently The end
