Hiroshima, and after...

Six decades ago, this very day… Hiroshima City was blown away! Enola Gray left a deadly crater… Nagasaki’s turn a little bit later! Cold War began, it’s momentum apace… Along with the scary nuclear race! Missiles in Cuba, world held its breath… At prospect of imminent atomic death! Cold War then ended, along with the fall Of that infamous structure, the Berlin Wall! Relative calm, we all said “thank heaven”… Then lo! and behold! September Eleven! The “war on terror,” how will it end? A prospect too ghastly, to comprehend? That much vaunted treaty, the nuclear ban? Korea (North)?...what of Iran? Six decades ago, while we remember… Do not forget, eleven September! Earth’s mortal danger, won’t just go away… Down on our knees, we must fervently pray!
