Holding On

/* Oct 25, 1993 Last of the old ones :) */ Her life was one big misery Her heart was torn too deep Her eyes were hiding pain and lies She cried herself to sleep. She longed for only yesterday When all was gold and green. There’s no return to what was once. What’s gone is gone and been. She lost herself to bitterness For life, she had no care. She drowned herself in loneliness no longer need for air. She counts each day which drags on by She wishes time away She needs someone to hold her on Before she slips away.
