Holding the bag
Wall Street falls five-hundred points, foreclosures multiply. Financial firms go belly up, the question posed is why? Greedy lenders granted loans, to all who would apply. A conscientious credit check, was passed with a closed eye. The mortgage market's bubble burst, and real estate stood still. Banks and brokers made mistakes, now we must pay the bill.
