Holidays of a foreigner in BLEEDING PARADISE
Then with me was curiosity to see Kashmir and people shot with Cupid's-dart Reached when I there, I found no more me Stepped I in with the pollyannaish heart. Praised I then, The God's beautification through swoon I passed, saw when I thee lost I everything even the ruling passion just I wanted the scene to forever see The catastrophic year which I there spent thought would be surely jollying me up never I thought circumstances will dissent what I had reckoned and my dream it sup When I was there in the days of summer Valley then looked like a phantom picture Blood everywhere was just a bummer savagery here had crossed its stricture When in autumn leaves were falling Likely saw I tears from the eyes Mothers for their sons were crying & calling Then it happened but still sky cries The holler and cries of land I heard And people I saw in winter were Numb Why there were killings? It was absurd Why the government acted deaf and dumb? Graveyards were full, still they were getting killed Eyes were now tear-less, still they had to cry That spring led me home, with pain my heart was filled; To that Bleeding-Paradise then I said Good-bye.
