Inspired by a place of pilgrimage very special to me... 
 
Holy Spirit. 
Holy Spirit, please enter me within this holy place. 
Love me, hold me, cleanse me, heal me. 
Take away all time and space. 
Close my eyes for just a while to ease my troubled soul. 
Fill me with Your loving presence. 
Make this empty one feel whole. 
Take my broken wings, for in Your spirit I will soar. 
Strip me down to nothing, 
so that I might feel you more. 
Fill me with Your spirit, that it fills my every part, 
then let it grow in others 
through the actions of my heart.
