Hope - a remnant

29 Jan 2008

Sharp wit wielded as a weapon cannot defend the vulnerable nor can a gentle nature aid the counterattack. How then does a child retain her innocence and joyful spirit? She is blameless. She chooses to walk between the seams of childhood dreams and reality. Although the act itself was involuntary self-imposed solitude provides sanctum. Yet, she is grateful for life, clawed, fought for. She is learning to walk again and hope, for iridescence, remains.
