Horizon
As the tide slips silently out I sit on the damp sand and think how lost I feel without you. Was it ever so that such a love could exist between two distant souls traversing an intransient space. We soar as beautiful seagulls wheeling in circles catching the thermals. Our calls disappear into the void between the sea and the sky. This love we share is just like the horizon and as I look to it I am reminded and comforted that even though it’s elusive, it’s always there all around me.
