Hou'ou (Phoenix) Many centuries I have lived, My immortality, curse or blessing? Never been able to stay dead, My body keeps rising. Being reborn, from the very ashes, That was left when I died. This is, The term of my curse. Un-imagineable, Wisdom, experience and patience. These are the qualities, Of my blessing. Although it hurts my heart, To see many wars, lovers quarrels and useless killings, My wisdom is needed someday, I await the fated.
