House of Hell

·TheNightShift

House of hell The ceramic tiled asylum wall With the smears of defecation The screaming of the inmates Sounding out their frustration The thud of a body bouncing Off the sides of a padded cell The sounds of human flotsam Residing in the house of Hell There is a patronising doctor And an old regimented nurse An inmate bleats and babbles The warden gives out a curse Inside a soiled straight jacket With the straps fastened tight The deranged homicidal man Is struggling with all his might A face of contorted madness The insane psychopathic grin The manic shrieking laughter Saliva running down the chin A piteous plea for compassion Which just falls upon deaf ears And leaves a victim of insanity Shedding his melancholy tears
