How long will this last I wonder How long will my father wander How long will this family wait How long until one of us breaks How long till he sees their suffering How long till darkness no longer rules his world When will he listen and when will he see That the laughter has died within his children's eyes And the face of his wife is constricted in sadness. How long I wonder how long will it take until the bough breaks. And once it is broken How long will it take to put the pieces back together How long will it take, or maybe never.
