(Inspired by How to paint a water-lily. Ted Hughes ) Silent keeper of secrets, disappearing into the ether, Silken strands whisper softly your brief unnurtured history. Fragments of stardust your gauzy glamour unfurl and probe deeply velvet petals. A stranger to affection winged darling enchanter. Myriad flakes of sparkling dust lustrously shimmer. A beacon of freedom and joy. No artist's brush could touch.
