Humanity is My Religion
Humanity is my Religion Religion is an all-weather wind-cheater, saves me from rain, storms and gale, in wintry nights from snowfalls and chill icy –wind; religion is a warmth within that instils confidence in me to stay afloat in bad times; but religion has become a catalyst, broker --priests pose as mediator between God and me; they take me to confession room, hear all my sins, submission, and abuse me, my weaknesses; its true for Church Temple and Mosque alike: so I lost faith in so-called religion except humanity, service to the needy, poor; my God is spread all over the canvass in land, water, sky and ether. rajkumar@kolkata 27-10-2013
