I am A dream

I am A dream I am A dream waiting to manifest; fearfully knocking on The door(ego) to let me out this crowded and vacant room; shamelessly confined and filled with gloom. The door imprisoned me into a silenced existence, proud of the masks hung over it seemingly oblivious of their mockery; shut out off the sun My limbs are limp, my muscles ache, I need to spread my wings and feel the cool breeze beneath; scatter myself and let the warm summer air carry me like a hair feather to the earth. Beyond this paralysing firewall (doubt), my destiny lies; if only my hand didn't tremble when reaching for it. Like the unburning tree before Moses, the fire scorches to refine; but my eyes quiver to even its sight … In my daze, as if by some greater will and deeper need, I am thrust forward in, to The wall- it doesn't hurt as I'd imagined, but warm and liberating, joyful and enlivening I AM in the torch that burns within, that’s been keeping me alive, that spurred me on, that kept me grounded to this holy land, and flattered my true self to my unconscious existence I remove my sandals, bow in victory and befriend The wall, to live the life from the dream.
