I Am Not An Earthquake
I am not an earthquake. I am the aftermath. as the ground shakes and everybody stops to wait for me. And slowly I take effect, first the landslides and the shipwrecks. I destroy the hills but I’m not the enemy. I never start this, I just wait for my cue. I am the headlining act but my actions speak loud, they block out my words. I could scream these tragedies and paint the walls with truths, still I would not get the rewards or even simple cynicism. So next time be aware and head for the hills. Until I get noticed I’ll build with rage and Earth will pay its price.
