I Am Scared

I AM SCARED I don't think you understand why I'm scared, Why us is what I have always feared. Why my stomach turns every time you touch me, Why I often think we're not meant to be. Well, it's because I care about you, Because I sometimes feel that I need you. It's because you always try to make things right, And because I can't put up a fight. It's because you can always make me smile, And when I'm tired you can make me walk another mile. It's because I can't stay mad, When you're around I can't even stay sad. It's because you have the power to break my heart, And that you decide when it's time to start. This is why I'm scared, And why us is what I have always feared.
