drawn in a golden chariot through the daffodils and sunflowers that brush against my legs and nod gently to your eyes I am borne of the soft eternal loam the sustenance and strength of maize and transparent gold of autumn maple leaves the tartness of lemon and giggling champagne bubbles that awaken your senses and tickle your nose I am the bliss of summer sun anointing your face with gentle warmth I am the sweet amber of pure honey smeared thick upon your tongue The blinding energy of a yellow star I spill heavily over limbs, torso, need I am the brilliance of illumination Unfailing you each dawn

I have been writing poetry and fiction for several years now. It is truely one of my great pleasures in life to create beauty with words.
